Bosa Properties’ – SEAandSKY

In December, Bosa Properties and Kingswood Properties announced they will be releasing Phase 2 of their masterplanned community in 2019 having now received a development permit.  Phase 2 consists of 134 – 2 & 3 bedroom townhomes which will have the same floors plans as Phase 1.

Phase 1 construction is well underway with several buildings framed to the second floor, foundations poured and/or formwork being completed.

Here’s a snapshot of the masterplanned community being considered.  Phasing and product type depicted in this rendering are subject to change.

Redbridge Development

Kingswood Properties announced they will bring to the 2019 market 267 apartments and 27 townhomes consisting of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms.  The site is located at 1500 & 1606 Scott Crescent across from Mag’s 99 at Upper Mamquam Channel.

Solterra Developments

Solterra has been working with the District of Squamish for the past 18 months finalizing the details of their new development.  Here is a schematic of the 3 buildings (2 residential & 1 commercial) situated between Main Street and Vancouver Avenue on Cleveland Avenue.  It is anticipated these homes will be released late spring 2019.

Pre-Sale Market News

October is expected to be the busiest month for pre-sales in 2018 bringing over 2,000 units to market according MLA’s October report.An estimated 17 projects are set to launch in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, bringing five concrete towers. In the current market, consumers now have more choice, flexibility and time to make decisions and look for the best value.

Lately, I have been asked a lot about the two master-planned communities in Squamish as most think they are some. Let’s start with Bosa Properties.


While the headlines across the Lower Mainland chat about reduced demand in the market, it seems another tale is being told by the pre-sale market.

Phase 1 of this 53 acre masterplan was released mid-May with 85% sold, now. There are select number of townhomes available starting from $689,900. The community will have an 17,000 sqft amenity centre, parks, trail systems and a waterfront boardwalk. Two bridges will also be constructed across the Mamquam Channel to connect residents to downtown Squamish.
